     Welcome to the 2008 season of Baseball and Softball.  We hope you and your children have a wonderful experience at the Santa Rosa Sportsplex.

     We just wanted to take this time to give you a little information.  Even though the county built the SportsPlex, PARA has been given the task to maintain the park.  To maintain the park, we must have money.  The registration fee pays for your childs shirt and hat.  The money that is left from that, along with sponsorships, is what we use to maintain our SportsPlex. When I say "OUR", I mean you, me and the community.

     Speaking of sponsors, we ask that all teams get a Major Sponsor ($325) and a Minor Sponsor ($175). Attached you will find a sponsorship form that explains what our Sponsor gets for their donation.

     Once your child is on a team, the team mom will advise you of any other expenses, e.g. pants, belt, socks and team party.

Try-outs* February 12^th - 6:00 pm SportsPlex

Pre-Season Tournament** March 1^st - March 6^th

Opening Ceremony March 14, 2008 - 6:30 pm

Opening Day/Picture Day & March 15, 2008

 RETURNERS March 4^th & March 6^th
 OPEN REGISTRATION March 8^th

*Children playing as 4 year olds do not have to show up for the Try-outs

**Pre-Season Tournament-There is an entry fee for each team.  This fee pays for the umpires.  There is also a $1.00 entry fee into the tournament.  This is a major fundraiser for PARA.
