PARA is a member of the Gulf Coast Girls Softball
For the Fall seasons, softball league placement is determined by the player's age on
December 31st of the current year.
For the Spring seasons, softball league placement is determined by the player's age on
December 31st of the previous year.
Spring Softball registration fees include a jersey and pants that the player may keep.
Fall Softball registration fees do not include a jersey and pants. In the fall, each parent
is responsible for providing the uniform for the player as coordinated by the team. Each
player will need cleats, a batting helmet WITH a face-mask, and a softball glove. For
bats, please consult your team's head coach. The head coach will also provide parents
with information on the color of the socks worn in the game. Catcher's gear is provided
by the park.
Games are played on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and sometimes on Fridays. Make-up
games sometimes fall on Wednesday. Practice times and locations are determined by
the head coach of each team. The season runs from February to June.
